How long should a yoga workout be?

Barbara:  The length of the work outs (how much time I should budget) seems to be a closely guarded secret.

Susan: Hi Barbara, most yoga classes are 90 minutes, however the length of time you spend in a yoga session of your own is variable depending on many factors.
How much time do you have available? Sometimes 90 minutes, or 2 hours, or 20 minutes? A little yoga is better than none at all…or you might feel like relaxing into a long practice on a particular day. It’s flexible and it’s up to you.

It may also depend on how you’re feeling that day. Every day is different depending on what you’ve been doing, your health and level of fitness.

Just stay in tune with your body, respect your limits and your energy level, and enjoy your practice … Be it 10 minutes or 2 hours.
