Chris: Someone recommended your tape for seniors. The only one I could find was the Basic Series 1 which has a picture of someone sitting in a typical yoga pose. I have osteoarthritis in my knees and foot and know I could not do poses. My friend said her tape has none of the regular poses. Could you tell me if I am looking at the right one? We still have dial up so I could not check out the moves etc. Also, how much is shipping/handling? Thanks so much.
Susan: The DVD Yoga for the the Young at Heart is a beginning yoga class. The pose on the cover of the program is not included in the class, and all of the poses on the DVD are traditional beginning yoga poses. The video was made with beginning and senior students in mind and, if you are gentle with your body and respectful of your limitations, you should be able to do the class at your own level.
I don’t know what your friend is referring to when she says that our DVD class doesn’t have any of the “regular” poses in it. ALL of the poses are poses you would do in almost any “regular” yoga class. I would encourage you to try it, and if you’re not happy with the class, we have a “money back guarantee” within 30 days.
I hope you’ll try it, and let me know how it is for you. The shipping cost is $5.95…way less than the cost of one class, and the more you do the DVD class, the less it costs!
