Ernie: It is difficult for me to get down to the floor. Can I still use one of the DVDs to do other things than sit in a chair?
Susan: Of course you can do the other Yoga for the Young at Heart DVD classes, you just have to be a bit creative and do what you can do. Be gentle and careful with yourself, and respect your limits.
I would suggest that you practice getting up and down from the floor. Not only will it build strength, but it is a safety consideration as well. Feel free to use support to begin practicing, and soon you won’t need it.
