Muriel: I am not a beginner yoga senior as I have taken yoga lessons for many years. However, not for the last ten years and want to start again. What would you suggest?
P.S. I am 73 years old and in excellent health.
Susan: Good for you! Getting back into your yoga practice will certainly be a blessing for you! I’m sure your body memory of your former practice will surprise you.
I would suggest that you begin gently and be sensitive to your body’s messages. Just take it easy. You could begin with my Yoga for the Young at Heart DVD, #1 of the Basic Series. I think you’ll find it a gentle way to begin again. Just do what you can and know that after a few weeks you’ll feel stronger, more alive and more relaxed.
